Michelle Vezina Peterlin


is an artist whose combines myth with nature and vibrantly combines color, form, nature with hyper
focus. She describes herself as an allegorical painter who tells stories through color, form and
imagination. Peterlin’s work is large scale and she wants the viewer to become fully immersed in her
compositions.
Michelle Vezina Peterlin is a native of Gardner, Massachusetts and a graduate of the University of
Massachusetts at Amherst where she received her degree in painting. For over 30 years, she has
exhibited her work annually all over the United States. She is an adjunct painting instructor at the
University of Evansville. She is the visual arts director for the New Harmony Artists’ Guild. She currently
resides in Evansville, Indiana with her husband, Frank Peterlin
